DISCOVERING THE DELTA:

Discovering The Delta is our all inclusive, 4-day and 3-night land and water adventure that requires a minimum of 20 guests and a maximum of up to 35 guests.

Click on this  "Discovering The Delta"  link for full details and pricing.

The Captain can anchor at your favorite location (nothing west of the Antioch Bridge) or one of the many spots the Captain has experienced over the years. Longer excursions provide enough time to venture further up the Delta to areas like Old Sacramento or the Meadows near Walnut Grove. The five hour boat ride to the Meadows takes you under four bridges, through a National Bird Reserve, and to an area just past Walnut Grove that is lush with trees and berry bushes hanging over the rivers edge. Other shorter trips can include Mildred Island, Frank's Tract, or any of the hundreds of other secluded sloughs along the way.

Our overnight adventures include; fuel, propane, three meals per day, snacks, bottled water, soft drinks, ice, and crew. Alcoholic drinks are sold onboard, you can pay cash or you can run a tab for your drinks and settle up with the Captain at the end of your adventure with a credit or debit card. We do all the work so you can fully enjoy your time playing in the warm sun or simply relaxing in a chaise lounge with a good book. You can bring your own ski boat (for an additional towing charge if the Captain tows it behind the Rosemarie) or other water toys to make your adventure one to remember.

Each overnight trip starts at the Boardwalk Grill Restaurant in the Discovery Bay Marina (5879 Marina Road, Byron, CA 94514) unless other prior arrangements have been made with the Captain. The cruise starts with an orientation that lasts about fifteen minutes, depending on questions. Orientation can not start until all guests are present and ready to depart. The Rosemarie leaves the dock at the pre-arranged time on the departure day, and returns to the same dock by 2:00pm on the last day of the trip.
